Upon my arrival in Australia, tropical Far North Queensland, I was immediately fascinated by nature. After a couple of years working on abstract expressionism landscape paintings, I started to use the husks of tropical almond from the beach where I come for contemplation. Comparing the protecting shape from nature with a Woman/ Mother and describing the glories of maternity and the idea of rebirth. I transform the micro part of my surround landscape in a little forty pieces of the canvas. Every husk has a different story of a seed that they protect until letting them go and spread life. All canvas together have an imaginary story about 40 seeds and their life energy what will be changing our landscape with new trees.
